Digital Intermediate

The films that keep viewers most involved are the ones that have been cleverly and meticulously color graded by a talented colorist. The digital intermediate (DI) process allows colorists to explore creative looks and effects using color and light. Some effects are subtle, such as highlighting a character’s face as she speaks; others are dramatic, like adding light or removing it from a scene post-production. That’s the power of color and where Autodesk® Lustre® color grading software shines.

CinePostproduction
This German post-production facility used Autodesk Lustre, Autodesk® Smoke®, and Autodesk® Flame® software on the Academy Award®-nominated film, Waltz with Bashir.
